FALL-Trail Ride

Maxwell Wildlife Refuge 2565 Pueblo Rd, Canton, KS

Please join us for an enjoyable ride on our 2800 acre native prairie located in the heart of the Smoky Hills.Riders must furnish their own horses. Ride begins at from The Friends of Maxwell tour center. Gates open at 9am, please arrive early enough to be mounted and ready to ride out at 10am. Full Day ride $35 ea. Half day ride $25 ea. Lunch provided by the Friends group. Reservations required by emailing Maxwellwildliferefuge@gmail.com

Tram Tour

Buffalo Auction

Maxwell Wildlife Refuge 2565 Pueblo Rd, Canton, KS

Annual Maxwell Wildlife Refuge Buffalo Auction by Kansas Department Wildlife and Parks. Auction starts at 11am.Open to public. Coffee, Hot Chocolate, Cinnamon rolls, &Chili & Buffalo Burgers provided by The Friends of Maxwell. Parking for spectators at the Friends of Maxwell visitor/tour center. 2565 Pueblo Road, Canton, Ks.
